The Solicitor General, Robert Buckland QC MP

Tuesday 10th October 2017

Over the past year, Britain’s separation of powers has become a subject of much political debate. Questions have been raised about how the respective roles of the judiciary, parliament and government are balanced and how, in practice, the separation of powers works.

The Solicitor General will discuss the role of his department and its responsibilities for upholding the rule of law which binds all three constitutional powers.

If you would like to attend, please email with your name, organisation, position, daytime telephone number and email address. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
