Dr Werner Erbert

Dr Werner Erbert is an economist at German Federal Ministry of Finance. His interests include fiscal sustainability, the German debt brake and economic governance in the EU. He has co-authored (with Christian Kastrop et al.) ‘Fiscal, Economic and Financial Vulnerabilities: Implications for Euro Area Surveillance’, in Applied Economics (2013), and (with Sarah Ciaglia) ‘Does Fiscal Policy Matter?’ in Fiscal Policy and Growth (Banca d’Italia, Perugia 2013). For Politeia he was co-author of Paying for the Future: Working Systems for Pensions and Healthcare (2015).
