Professor Richard Roberts
Richard Roberts was a specialist in financial and economic history who was latterly Professor of Contemporary History in the Department of Political Economy at King's College London. His publications included The Lion Wakes: A Modern History of HSBC (Profile, 2015, with David Kynaston), When Britain Went Bust: The 1976 IMF Crisis (OMFIF, 2016) and Six Days in September: Black Wednesday, Brexit and the Making of Europe (OMFIF, 2017, with William Keegan and David Marsh). For Politeia he was co-author of Banking on Recovery: Towards an accountable, stable financial sector (2016).
