Paul Thornton OBE

Paul Thornton is Managing Director of the Pensions Advisory team at Gazelle Corporate Finance Ltd. Until 2006, he held a number of senior management position at Watson Wyatt LLP, including Senior Partner and chairman of the firm's Partnership Board. He is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, having served as its President between 1998 and 2000. He has also been Chairman of the Pensions and Employee Benefits Committee of the International Actuarial Association and Chairman of the Pensions Committee of the Groupe Consultatif of European Actuaries. For Politeia he was co-author of The Pensions Predicament: Means Testing, the Savings Trap and the Labour Market (2004).
