Dr Jürgen Stark

Dr Jürgen Stark was a Member of the Executive Board and the Governing Council of the European Central Bank between 2006 and 2011. He was previously Vice-President of the Deutsche Bundesbank and served as State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Finance, as well as holding posts at the Federal Chancellery and the Federal Ministry of Economics. For Politeia he was co-author of More Gain Than Pain: Consolidating the Public Finances (2011).
