Dr Irwin Stelzer is Director of Economic Policy Studies at the Hudson Institute in Washington DC and a columnist both in the US and London, where he writes for The Sunday Times. His academic career has been mainly in the US, where he has taught at Cornell University, the University of Connecticut and New York University. He has written widely on economic and regulatory subjects and on antitrust law. His Politeia publications include Poverty or Prosperity: What Tax is Best for a Flourishing Economy? (2010) and Taxes in a Global Economy: Efficiency, Fairness and Incentives (2008).
