David Heathcoat-Amory was Conservative Member of Parliament for Wells between 1983 and 2010, serving in government as Europe Minister (1993-94) and Paymaster General (1994-96). He later served as the Conservative Parliamentary Delegate to the Convention on the Future of Europe. For Politeia he was author of Who Controls Britain’s Borders? (2007) and The EU Constitution: What It Means For Me (2003).
