Professor David Burghes

Professor David Burghes is Director of the Centre for Innovation in Mathematics Teaching (CIMT) at the University of Plymouth. He is also director of The Kassel Project in Comparing Standards Internationally and the International Comparative Study in Mathematics Teacher Training. He is the author for Politeia of a number of publications including Primary Problems for the New Curriculum: Tougher Maths, Better Teachers (2013) and Teachers Matter: Recruitment, Employment and Retention at Home and Abroad (2009).
