Politeia Address

Robert Buckland QC MP, Solicitor General

23rd May 2017

Over the past year, Britain’s separation of powers has become a subject of much political debate. Questions have been raised about how the respective roles of the judiciary, parliament and government are balanced and how, in practice, the separation of powers work.

On Tuesday 23rd May, the Solicitor General, Robert Buckland QC MP, will discuss the role of his department and its responsibilities for upholding the rule of law which binds all three constitutional powers.

If you would like to attend, please email Secretary2@politeia.co.uk with your name, organisation, position, daytime telephone number and email address. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
